While we already know that we shouldn’t get overly worked up over a car that is still a concept, we can’t help but be excited by this new Peugeot 5 by Peugeot Concept. This is one of those cars that we are praying makes it to reality.
This new Peugeot 207 S16 Special Edition is a limited run that will be exclusive to the UK. Anyone from the UK will be able to appreciate the colors here that are used on the paint job. It will come with front and rear spoilers, aerodynamic side skirts, and a faux rear diffuser.
This new Peugeot SR1 Concept has just been unveiled ahead of it’s scheduled unveiling at the 2010 Geneva motor show. We are glad to see it a bit early and as far as we can tell everything about this car is shaping up very nicely.
The five-door Peugeot 3008 hatchback is here to offer more versatility as life gets busier and you need to multi-task more and more. It is designed for an innovative balance of dynamic and the robust with a forward positioned windscreen and plunging side windows. Inside the Peugeot 3008 is the sheer amount of space and light that strike you from the 1.6m2 glass roof and panoramic windscreen plus a wide range of high-tech controls and state-of-the-art entertainment and telematics systems. Truly, the Peugeot 3008 is a more responsible choice than any other vehicle.
Interestingly, the Peugeot RCZ Hybrid4 presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show gives us more details regarding its powertrain. The concept is powered by a 2.0-liter HDi FAP diesel engine that moves the front wheels while its 37bhp electric motor moves the rears with a 200V nickel metal hydride battery. The Peugeot RCZ Hybrid4 achieves a remarkable 76.35 mpg with a CO2 emission of 95 g/km.
This is the most anticipated electric vehicle from Europe which is based on Mitsubishi’s i-MiEV. It is a four-door space-saving car that is very conducive even in a busy street. The Peugeot iOn is being powered by an electric motor with a horsepower of 64 and a torque of 133 lb-ft. It has the OnStar safety system with Peugeot’s “localized communication unit” that alerts local authorities. This compact electric vehicle will take its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Actually, the car’s “official” unveiling is still a couple of days away, but Peugot has given us a few images to hold us over until then, of their new RCZ. THis will be major competition for Audi’s TT, but whether it can come out on top or not will have to wait to be seen this Spring 2010.
