Mazda is trying to revive the slow-moving RX-8 replacing it with the RX-7. With this, the next-generation Renesis 16X engine will be incorporated together with the twin-rotor 1600cc Wankel producing about 350 horsepower and 215 lb-ft of torque, which comes larger than the current RX-8 engine. The future RX-8 will of course be treated with conventional design for a lower cost allowing it to enter the stiff competition by 2012.

The 2010 Mazda Mazdaspeed3 is on, the high-performance variant of the Mazda 3 five-door econobox. Its interior has a nice business type setup with the sport matrix fabric that makes up some of the seating inserts on the well-bolstered front seats and door panels. Basically powered by a 2.3-liter DISI turbo powerplant that outputs 263-hp and 280 lb-ft of torque, gearing up to six-speed manual transmission. The Mazda Mazdaspeed3 is the one that deserves a two thumbs up!
