Mazda is expected to Unveil their new Mazda MX-5 20th Anniversary Special Edition at this years Geneva Motor Show. It will come in a series of 2,000 units, each with exterior and improved suspension. It includes a chrome line kit that adds touches to the grille, handles, and headlights, while matching a new pair of silver-colored foglight assemblies.

About one month ahead of its scheduled unveiling at the Geneva show, Mazda has decided to give consumers an early sneak peak at what they will have in store for us with their new Mazda M5. So far eveything is looking nice and we can’t wait to see a whole lot more.

Mazda is trying to revive the slow-moving RX-8 replacing it with the RX-7. With this, the next-generation Renesis 16X engine will be incorporated together with the twin-rotor 1600cc Wankel producing about 350 horsepower and 215 lb-ft of torque, which comes larger than the current RX-8 engine. The future RX-8 will of course be treated with conventional design for a lower cost allowing it to enter the stiff competition by 2012.

The 2010 Mazda CX-9 Touring FWD tries very hard to be the car for the guy going through the midlife crisis, but still not ready to go all out. It sounds like a good idea on paper, but in the end will it be able to appeal to the target demographic? Only time will tell.

Subsequently, Mazda has another concept on hand, the MX-5 Superlight which will be welcomed at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The two-seater roadster is equipped with the standard MX-5 windshield and retractable roof along with carbon fiber racing seats and interior trimmings of brown leather and aluminum accents. It has a Mr. Hyde side to its grinning Dr. Jekyll look and once it takes control, you better be buckled up! The 2010 Mazda Mazdaspeed3 is on, the high-performance variant of the Mazda 3 five-door econobox. It is based on a two-box, five-door design which combines tossability and utility with its hatch that opens to hold a ton of cargo. Its interior has a nice business type setup with the sport matrix fabric that makes up some of the seating inserts on the well-bolstered front seats and door panels. Basically powered by a 2.3-liter DISI turbo powerplant that outputs 263-hp and 280 lb-ft of torque, gearing up to six-speed manual transmission. The Mazda Mazdaspeed3 is the one that deserves a two thumbs up!
