Exterior-wise, the 2011 Ford Mustang GT500 maintains its traditional look. This powerful train was designed for a whooping 550 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque while it comes lighter than the iron block engine. This updated Shelby GT500 is obviously lighter, more powerful, gets better fuel economy and faster around track.

Well the news is finally official, the 2011 Ford Edge will be the first Ford to feature the upcoming 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. It will also feature two bars running across the grill, giving the front fascia a very European Ford style. Things are looking good for this one.

If you expect it to be the same roomy SUV, that is a “yes” but the 2011 Ford Explorer is going car-based riding on the updated Freestyle/500 chassis, with a unibody frame and front-wheel bias. We always enjoy seeinf new special editions of Ford’s trucks and this one is definitely no different. This is the new 2011 Ford F-150 Lariat Limited. It shares many attributes with the Harley Davidson like the ower front air dam, wheels and grille.

Ford Motor Company unveils its latest safety car called the Mustang Daytona 500 Pace Car. As its name implies, this will be the official pace car for the upcoming Daytona 500 next month. This vehicle bears a special Daytona 500 paint scheme, a Ford racing suspension, strut tower brace and mufflers, unique painted wheels, lit sill plates, and special interior treatment. The Daytona 500 Pace Car is one of the first Mustang GT 5.0-liter V8s to be made available for sale to the public in which its proceeds will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Ford racing introduces the Boss 302R, a factory-built race car ready for track days and road racing. This Black-striped Yellow Mustang comes with a 5.0-liter V8 engine, six-speed manual transmission, a fully seam-welded and augmented by an FIA-certified roll cage, race seats, safety harness, data acquisition and race dampers/springs, and a Brembo brake and tire package. The Ford Mustang Boss 302R was prepared by Bud Moore Engineering in honor of the 40^th Anniversary of Parnelli Jones’ 1970 Trans-Am Championship.
