Lexus is planning to build 500 units and 171 of those will be going Stateside. If you want the car, you’ll have to put a down, then sign a 24-month non-transferable lease. After the lease is up, you can decide if you really want the car and buy it. The lease is a deterrent for profit hogs who buy the car the resell it for its exotic value once everything has been disposed by Lexus.
