Well, it’s happened, a full size 4×4 truck with a hybrid engine. This is the new 2009 GMC Sierra 4×4 Hybrid. Can it live up to expectations though? If what you’re looking for is a truck that can tow a 6,000 lb. load and still maintain a decent gas mileage, then this truck is definitely for you. If you do a lot of highway driving however, then you may be better off looking hor a different hybrid, or just a regular truck altogether, as this won’t have the pickup that you are looking for.
